Does getting induced automatically mean your getting a C-section? My boyfriend's sister told him that. And now he's telling me get ready to get a C-section. 😒😒😒
No ma'am. I had my baby vaginally 5 hours after getting pitocin.
No tell her to shush.... ppl always saying irrelevant stuff to pregnant women like I have enough to worry about u r added stuff isn't necessary
@ligermama, idk what she's being but she tells him all this nonsense and he tells me like it's true. Then when I google it or ask my mom it's the opposite. So I had to come on here and ask some moms about this one.
@@_prettyinpink21 like with me they told me I had to be in at midnight and they were gonna insert a pill to soften my cervix more and than four hours later start my Pitocin so by 6 am they started Pitocin and broke my water around 8 they said if they seen no progress around 5 that after noon they would have to do a csection but I had my daughter at 311 but like they said only if they see ur not dilating
No what to heck lol, Induction is to help you open and dialate in order to attempt a vaginal birth there's always that chance of your body not dialating which can cause you to have a csection
It is definitely not a guarantee but your chances go up. I second watching the Business of Being Born. It explains the whole cycle. If you don't want to risk all those interventions, it's best to avoid an induction unless it's medically necessary. :) It is really not nice of her to act like it's 100%. Seems like she's trying to be a know it all and freak you out. :(
It definitely increases your chances dramatically, but it doesn't guarantee it. It becomes much more complicated if you go in and your cervix is unfavorable or something, otherwise things usually go fine.
Heck no it doesn't!!! I had to be induced because of extreme medical problems and was able to delivery naturally.
no i went past due & had to get induced & delivered vaginally
@pprettyinpink21, no ma'am I was induced two weeks ago and had my princess naturally the only way u will have a csection is if a emergency happens or if ur not progressing in dilation!!
But don't let it sway your decisions ! Because you are mama and you will know what your body needs and when (:
@thebroadwaybaby16, yes I have Netflix. I'm gonna look into that
No, but the chances of having an emergency c section are a lot higher. if you have Netflix, watch The Business of Birth. it kinda explains how it raises your chances of c section and such. and is overall a really good documentary.
They're so irritating. He believes everything she says. She has 2 kids. One C-section so I guess she thinks that's the case.
not really only if ur doctor tell u but what they gonna do its to prevent the pain n u can start opening
No it just means they break your water and might put you on pitocin to help contraction come alkng
Nope. I was induced 4 times and never had a c section.
No, my cousin got induced Monday. They just put her on pitocin until she dilated & she had her baby the natural way.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
