Ugh my luck, I'm feeling a cavity and its aching :( I have pregnancy Medicaid does anyone know if it covers the dentist…

I def understand that ... we aren't prepared either :( well I'm glad he's close so you can call . Maybe you could go stay near the hospital when it's close to time (although that would be hard to know exactly when ) stay warm xx . Hopefully everything will go smoothly for you @mrsschutte1323

My baby is due the end of January but I have a gut feeling it's coming earlier and we aren't going to be prepared. My husband is only going to be working 5 minutes away and I can call his work and freak out and hey will send him home for me but winter gets so bad here... It snowed last night for the second time and it's stayed so far.. And winter has lasted time may for the last three years here :(

Oh my gosh when is your baby due?? That is not good with only car and stuff I will prolly be in that boat soon if me and my bf get this tiny one bedroom house we are looking at , well except for hospital being an hour away . Right now I can see it and it's like 5 mins if we move it will be like 25 mins away. My baby is due in February . Thank god it hasn't snowed here yet lol , we do get a good bit in wv though @mrsschutte1323

Lol there's way too much snow by me. I hate snow!!!! And of course my baby is due in the dead of winter and my husband works nights (with the only car) and my roommate is NEVER home and family is 20 minutes away and the hospital is an hour away.

Well I called mine this morning. I guess the only thing I'm covered for is emergencies, dentures, and something else

I live in Wisconsin. I lose insurance after the baby is born because my husband makes too much money but the baby will continue to have it and I have it while pregnant

@arijane316, that's what I'd assume too for me but noooo lol . I called twice to speak to someone else and ask about it to see if maybe first person was wrong . I thought it was pretty much the same everywhere

No I'm not but I know that doesn't matter because I'm pregnant. My sister was 15 when she had her baby and was on state insurance. It was the same for her they cover everything as long as you go to who they want you to go to. If you're not pregnant then you can't get insurance after 19 years unless you're in school

I guess it depends on your state..mine pays for everything as long as I qualify for it and I'm pregnant so I do.

medicaid covers dentists, yes. I keep forgetting to call mine and I desperately need to have some teeth looked at

Medicaid gives you a list of dentist in your area that you can go to if you call them :)

They should be able to just log into the insurance company's database and find your info :)

Yes it does cover dentist visits. I have pregnancy medicaid and was on phone with them Wednesday and they said they do. Also, covers eye doctors

My state insurance covers dental but a specific dentist

oh I'm not sure! I got on Medicaid and they told me to choose who I'd like to go through, or they'd choose for me. I chose buckeye health insurance because that's what mainly everything in my town accepts. (:
