having very regular and very painful contractions now. they're coming every 1-2 minutes. I've dilated and effaced more and am in terrible pain. No pre-eclampsia and another positive fetal fibronectin. They're keeping me but haven't told me if they will deliver or not yet.

I had the shots at 28 weeks. Do they do them again? and magnesium and have been on niphediphine since before pregnant.

It could just be registering Braxton hix. Best thing for those is rest and fluids.

Yeah I didn't realize you're only 33 weeks.... I'm sorry.... They will definitely give you some fluids and maybe a shot or vistaril to slow them down.

Oh and an external monitor doesn't measure how strong a contraction is, just when they are happening

yes they look like pretty strong contractions. and they will probably give you a steroid shot to try stopping your labor since your only 33 weeks. if they can't then they will keep you and you'll probably have your baby.

The mountains at the bottom are contractions. Each tiny square is 10 seconds. There are 6 tiny boxes in between the dark lines which make the dark lines one minute each. Your contractions are about 1-1/2 minutes apart. That's plenty of contractions! One contraction every 2-3 min is the goal for a good contraction pattern. Baby soon :)
