Baby girl didn't get newborn pictures in hospital because she was a preemie. So I took my own. :)

Joelle finally came home the other day after 21 days in the NICU. Have weekly nurse visits still to check her weight but she's doing good :)

My daughter was getting ready to go home today at 2 weeks old and was finally leaving the NICU but she started bleeding bad from her bottom and they rushed her for an X-ray and a bunch of lab work. She is also not able to drink my milk and has to have sugar,protein and regular iv fluids as well as antibiotics. They said she has an infection and probably some internal organ issues. day 12 of NICU stay and she's getting so much better :)

can't wait for my daughter to meet her sister. She was born almost 12 days ago and still hasn't been able to meet her. :(

Our baby is still in the NICU but doing good. Can't believe she's 9 days old already :)

Being a NICU parent is hard, especially when you have an almost 2 year old at home that can't come to the NICU to even meet their sibling.

NICU moms! How long was your baby in the hospital for feeding issues?

Doing super good. Having issues with breastfeeding but we are working on it. Blood sugars are up now and she has to work on staying warm but she's doing so great!

My daughter was born at 34 weeks 6 days. She pooped in the amniotic fluid. Had to be taken to NICU for blood sugar, and tube feeding and for her hand iv. No pain medicine after 15 hours of horrible back labor and pushing her chunky self out. Weighed 6lbs 4oz. 12 inch head and 19 inches long. :)
