What is everyone's opinion and experience with co-sleeping? I keep getting told I shouldn't be doing it, and its dangerous. I love co-sleeping with my son, when he's sleeping in his own bed I wake up constantly to see if he's breathing. Advice please!
I have the angel care monitor. it goes off if the baby doesn't move for 20 seconds. it gives a warning beep at 10 seconds
They say it increases the risk of SIDS so you should have them sleeping in a crib or bassinet in the same room but not actually in the crib... But that said lots of people do it anyway with no problems...I won't be just because I'm to paranoid
I've slept with my daughter for 11 months now n I'm a deep sleeper but she has her boppy. I say go for it as long as he's in his boppy
my daughter sleeps with me and my husband on the bed in her boppy pillow has been since day 1, shes 6 months
My sister co-slept with her baby since birth and she's amazing (now 8 years old). I asked my sis her opinion and she said she was better adjusted as far as sleeping on her own in her bed, room, etc.
I thought about that but, I'm using a pack-n-play instead, we tend to move it from room to room depending on what we have to do (cleaning or cooking)
I've been co sleeping since day one she's 4 months now and I put the crib right beside my bed without the front rail so she can be in her area safe
I take percautions, I only let him sleep with me at 6am (when he wakes up for a feeding) till 9am when we get up for the day. He falls asleep in the boppy pillow next to me so he doesn't roll. I just don't know. I don't move much in my sleep.
I would be afraid to since I know someone who was a very light sleeper and still managed to roll over on their baby so for me, I won't.
Who co sleeps and who doesn’t?
Co-Sleeping, how old is to old?
I personally do not co-sleep. I tried it once and woke up panicked that I rolled on him, so it's just not for me. But my question is how old is to old for a child to be sleeping with parent? I see moms with 2+ year olds, so when is your cut off? I knew someone who co-slept until 10.
