This May Be Long.→

in 2011, November 10th, I was in a bad car accident. My mother in law foolishly took off her shoe to scratch her foot..going around a curb...going 60mph. (on a back country road.)

We ended up hitting the bank, flipping, and rolling seven times. I had fractured my right arm, into 18big pieces and too many little to count...and damaged two nerves. I had hit my head, but we weren't too worried at that time about it.We were more worried about saving my arm. Which they did. But now I've been diagnosed with Degenerative disc disease, the extent of damage is unknown. Because I can't have a MRI scan yet. Pain clinic wanted to put me on pain meds..but decided to not do so. Tennessee has new laws. so...I said okay. They said to alternate tylenol & ibuprofen..I've used warm compresses, hot showers & warm baths. I've done everything they told me to do since being off narcotics at 6wks pregnant. nothing is helping.

My headaches are now getting worse. They won't go away. I've got electricity numbing pains in my hands..and terrible pains. I called my obgyn in tears, hoping for help. She said that with it going on so long and it not getting any better..she said I could go to urgent care but shed rather me wait til tomorrow, call the office and come in to be seen. She said I need fiorocet, muscle relaxers, and narcotics.

Has any other pregnant mommas been on any of these during pregnancy? and I cant help but feel selfish. but I cant take this anymore.

Im worried about the effects it might have on my baby.

p.s. i am almost 21wks pregnant.
