has anyone got the NIPT (the blood test that reveals gender) I want to get it but Idk if my doctor will or not I'll be 11 weeks soon and was wondering if anyone else has done it.

I have o negative blood and I did blood work done to test baby to see if I'd need the rhogam shot. I had that done at about 12 weeks.
Mine was called Progenity, and it was to check for chromosome abnormalities and also revealed gender. I got it just under 12 weeks.
Idk if I'm considered high risk I have thyroid disease and have to take medication. the doctor I go to has done it with other patients but I don't know if he does it with all of them.
My friend did it and she is not high risk. It depends on your insurance I think and your doctor . I didn't even ask my doctor about the test and I didn't get it and we have the same insurance with my friend
I had my panorama screen blood test done and they told me the gender from those results
I did it because I'm high risk and didn't want to do the amniocentesis first. Found out sex of baby at 10.5 weeks. Obviously the most important thing about the test is that baby came back healthy. 🙏
