I posted recently about having survive pain when my daughter latches on my right side. I just finished pumping..and the tip of my nipple is bulging out, almost like there is liquid behind it. Could that be causing my latching problem.? And, how do I fix it.?
Did any moms breastfeed if so how long?I was only able to breastfeed my son for a week or two weeks I had a hard time getting him to latch and I would bleed when he wasnt latched right and they would hurt so bad and leak so much ....any suggestions or tips?🤷🏾 ♀ 🤦🏾 ♀
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
So moms after doing research and looking at them I’m pretty sure I have inverted nipples😭 sorry if this is tmi.. but i really hope it doesn’t effect me being successful breastfeeding. My first son did latch i just didn’t keep latching him and my milk never came in.
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
Why won't my daughter latch i am sick of pumping :(

time to heal and the pain will eventually go away if your size is right. i had alot of pain when i first started but it didnt last long. i left some info in the comments that may help you too. ☺

@hersheyhippo3 I do have one more question..do you know if I have to keep nursing for the pain to go away or will it still go away if the size of my pump cup was the problem. I used a smaller size last lime I pumped, but it still hurts, because when I nursed my daughter she popped the blister like thing. Or will it just take time to heal.?

im surprised it didnt come with an information booklet. any who, you can visit medela.com for any replacement parts ect. theres also www.ilca.org, 1800tellyou, www.nursingmothers.org for more support from pros.

ok. i think thats the same one I have. yes there are definitely different size cups. let me go grab it and ill give you some info.

@hersheyhippo3 I can only adjust the speed on my pump....should I be able to adjust something else too.?
And, I always make sure it is comfortable..but sometimes it is painful on the slowest setting.

if theres a speed adjustment and its up to high for what your breasts can handle. turn the speed up til its uncomfortable then turn it down one.

yeah. for different size cups. i suppose it depends on what pump you're using. but i would definitely look it up. it helped me alot when i pumped.

@hersheyhippo3 There is a size chart.? And, how do you pump too fast.? I use an electric pump..

it sounds like you're trying to pump to fast on too high a setting with the wrong size cup. i would try different ones. and use the size chart too. ☺
