@shaunatb, lol he probably was because its true about the alcohol evaporating , pump and dump isnt necessary unless your boobs fill up and get painful. @meg940 lol i had my first shot and had to wait a while lol because not drinking for almost a year definitely has an effect on you lol. good luck love, enjoy yourself.

@shaunatb, alcohol leaves ur breastmilk the same way it leaves ur bloodstream. it evaporates. pumping doesn't do anything other then keep you from getting engorged. @soontobehermommy well my mom will be babysitting so I'll probably drink then wait a lil whole then drink again just to make sure it doesn't build up on me ha-ha

@shaunatb, i had no choice but to pump it out lol, my boobs got hard after like 4 hours and i pumped out like 6 almost 7 oz. lol i was like geeze .

lol well as long as you monitor how much you drink verses body weight , you can still feed. like one drink right after feeding then feed 3 hours later then another drink ... whatever works for you @meg940

but in order for it to be out and to be sure is you pump it out.

plus mami your husband could have consumed it, give it to the dog yes even baby expired ones (it won't do harm to anybody else, just baby), make Smoothies, or set it aside for baby's face cream etc

oh yeah! I definitely understand then! I only plan on drinking a couple margaritas BC I don't have a stash yet lol

i defrosted my whole stash of frozen milk just to be safe lol. i had like 4 shots and a beer so i was still feeling it a little by morning . im still feeding defrosted milk lol. better safe than sorry @meg940

you didn't have to pump and dump lol if ur sober enough to drive ur sober enough to nurse. I plan on drinking on my birthday so I asked my lactation consultant to be safe.
