lol the only thing im scared of with labor is the needles like I have never had an IV and this is my first child so never had a epidural😷😕
yeah my thing with needles are I'm nervous when I see them but once they are in its not bad lol but thanks made it better @haiydensmomma
I hate needles too but it really wasn't that bad! The iv hurts a little but just for a second & honestly the epidural hurt less then the iv. Barely felt it at all!
well yeah I got to suck it up and take it lol I have no choice @mandysue
Yeah. I had it. I had my son July 2. It's very exhausting and difficult but when he or she is out you're still tired but you forget about the pain
@mandysue, thanks I was thinking that but eh I guess you know just that nervous feeling that every ftm feels
lol I'm the same way that's why I'm scared of the IV and epidural @halsey11
Don't be scared. I just don't like needles around my hands 😂 like I freak out when I have to get a finger prick
I'm due with my fifth baby here in about 5-6 weeks. Tbh the iv is the worst part. It's the part I dreaded the most with al of mine. My third was the worst because the nurse busted my vein the first try. They do numb it though first. Epidural wasn't that bad because at that point I was in so much pain, I just wanted relief.
okay thanks so much you made me feel better about it now @soon2b2 😊
Me either I was very nervous but everything went well. The trick the told me for the epidural was to slouch over and really round your back out and remain calm
lol I'm really nervous about a csection because I have never had surgery on anything in my life @soon2b2
It's not that bad. I had an emergency csection with my first child and didn't feel the needle go in my back.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
The IV does not hurt, it just feels like a something stung you, but afterwards you don't feel it. And the epidural, honestly it's the samething, for me I just felt it go in, and it didn't hurt. Just relax when they're doing it. Coming from a person terrified of needles and blood.
