actually they're very protective over new born honestly

have someone bring a blanket, hat, shirt something the baby wore at the hosital home and let the dog do what ever with it so they can get to know the smell

I'm sure ur 1st baby (ur puppy) knows ur with child. they sense that so when u bring ur other baby home just introduce them. I'm sure they already have a bond
