When I had my daughter, knowing I was breastfeeding, they prescribed me Oxys and Ibuprofen 800 mg... Now that I've taken the oxys and they're long gone, I'm hearing about how I'm a bad mom because you're not supposed to take oxys while nursing... But that's what the doctor that delivered her prescribed to me and I only did what I was told? They even managed to last until today (11 days). Does anyone know if a low dosage is harmful?? Was anyone else given this?? I'm a FTM and I really didn't mean to do anything that could be harmful, I'm just in so much pain, I had no choice but to take what was given :'(
I took Percocet and Motrin and a stool softener after my c section. The only one that effected my daughter was the stool softener.
your not a bad mom hun your dr told you to take them than it's fine don't worry. id rather listen to my dr like @shortiebs said.
According to this you are fine but i would bring it up to the doctor. I rather listen to my doctor or studies from professionals than random people ссылка
I looked and yes that is what I took, mine was 325mg I don't know if I took 1 or 2 at a time.
I want to say I took that after my c section...but I could be wrong lol it was 7 months ago. I had to take it for 2 weeks...I breastfed at first and my baby is very healthy
your supposed to take them. you did nothing wrong and no it does not harm the baby. might make him or her a little tiny bit sleepier but newborns sleep all the time anyways.
