Got a flu shot today at my appt. I felt it was unnecessary 😒

My midwife was like "You do not want the flu while pregnant. You could end up in the hospital" and that convinced me!! :) So that's a positive thing!

I have heard so many bad things about the flu shot and vaccines in general. I did get it tho lol

with flu season coming up, dont pass it up...last pregnancy i didnt get it...got tge WORST case of the flu i have ever had...i was down for nearly 3 weeks...i was the last to get it...everyone else took about a week and they were good...i pass a lot of vaccines up but not that one

I said no to mine. not for any real reason, I just didn't want a shot.

I got mines yesterday at my appointment. I've never had it before but the way my dr was talking made me want to get it

Something else to think about..., flu season can continue through May. A lot of us will have newborns during flu season. A newborn cannot get a flu shot and I cant imagine what the flu would do to a newborn.

My point is; I got the flu shot for myself and everyone else in my house. I don't want to risk bringing the flu home to the baby.

I refused mine yesterday. I have never gotten the flu shot except when I was pregnant with my son and it landed me in the hospital. I did a bunch of studies on it this time before I went in and the bad out weighed the good. I am not anti vaccine. I vaccinate my son. The only shot we do not get is the flu shot.
