Feeling like I've failed already 😔 I've been breastfeeding for the last two days and my nipples hurt like hell. So I gave Connor 2 ounces of formula. I feel terrible.

Do you have any lanolin? It works wonders for sore nipples! It's what got me through that painful first week of breastfeeding! You can do it mama! Try try try! It only hurts for the first week and then bam you're a breastfeeding champ and it's an awesome feeling! But also don't get upset if you have to give the baby formula, you're doing your best and that's what matters!

once your done breastfeeding hand express a little milk and let it dry on your nups definitely helps. and one thing that's true that the drs say is that breastfeeding shouldn't hurt so hopefully it's only temporary your body getting use too
