I know I'm only 29weeks but I'm so scared of the epidural!! That's my biggest fear I think..Does it hurt bad?

people may think I am crazy but honestly I found out that it actually tickled me- did not hurt at all... I ABSOLUTELY HATE NEEDLES. it was surprisingly not painful

I got it done and I'm a crybaby whennit comes to needles so I cried but it didn't really hurt.

So I guess I got this when it comes time

I was scared too but my contractions were horrible to where I got it done as well. I didn't see the needle or anything. The guy who did it was nice and talked me through it all. All I felt really was the numbing shot and pressure after and that was it. it was heaven.

I was terrified too but contractions were so unbearable that I opted in and got it. Wasn't bad at all. Made everything more enjoyable!

When your in labor an in pain the epidural is the last of your worries... But no it's not bad at all an then it's amazing once you get it

but it wasn't so awful that I'm not getting it again because I definitely am.

It isn't awful, but it did sting/burn/pinch, I mean after that it's over but it is kind if a sharp pain. I had a contraction during mine which made it worse. but after that it's all good! I was scared of it too.

depending on the person that's giving it to u,with my son the person that did it was kinda rude n being rough I couldn't help it cause I was having a contraction while he was doing it n I was 17 so of course I was scared but with my daughter that guy was sooo nice n gentle n talking to me throughrout the whole process

They numb the area first so the only thing I felt was pressure. You just have to hold perfectly still which isn't always easy when your still feeling all of your contractions.
