Did anyone read the Zofran lawsuit?! First trimester means 12 weeks... I started zofran after our first 12 weeks and take it EVERY day. Our daughter's heart is perfect and so is her cleft... I go to a perinatologist - google it, he went to school specifically to play quarterback to your ob/gyn and trusts it completley... Don't scare women on this app with false claims, do research first. Zofran is fine outside of your first trimester. #endrant #HGmama

@rookiemom, WOW!! I can't believe someone did that. I agree 100% if you aren't a doctor don't act like one. It's ok to have an opinion but not in that way.... Smh at some people!

@hward12, i watched a preggie mom tell another mom to avoid her doctor's prescription and never take it. My frustration is... Unless you're a doctor... Opinions on medical practices should be supportive or silent, especially on preggie. Cleft palate happens ALL THE TIME in babies ALL over the world... Not just because of Zofran, sorry for your friends babies.

I personally have friends that have taken zofran after 12 weeks and their baby came out with the side effects of cleft palate(sp?) I know it doesn't happen to everyone and I know it can help moms a lot! I don't judge or try and get someone to not take it because ultimately it's that persons choice to take it or not. However, I don't feel safe taking. I haven't read the lawsuit against it but unfortunately these side effects do happen to people.

I took the whole time I was pregnant and my daughter doesn't have any issues what so ever so I think that the lawsuit is bogus

@royce_ivy, i am on zofran because unlike in a normal pregnancy... My progesterone levels are higher than anyone else's... All women who suffer #hyperemesis have this same problem... Sometimes we throw up so much its just blood & bile and usually get hospital issued iv's for dehydration all 9 months of our pregnancy... Zofran is the Hyperemesis go to drug... And there's a current class action for use in the first trimester.

Why do they administer zofran ??? What does it cure or prevent ??? I don't know much about it
