Ya it sucks. i was looking forward to my 21st. and now that its almost my husbands 21st birthday id really like to drink with him. I mean I am so happy and grateful were having a baby. so I dont regret that one bit. just want to drink at least once. lol @liamandaria

it depends on if your breast feeding then yeah cause yout not suppose to after you drink but other then that nope

being a young mom is really tough, especially obviously when it isn't planned because it's like you look back and wish you knew you wouldn't get the chance to hit any clubs or take those trips or do selfish (in a good way!) things. I think as long as you're responsible it's all good! just be careful if you're breastfeeding to pump well ahead of time plenty of milk because if you do drink it takes quite some time to pass through and not be in your breastmilk. but people do it all the time. it is so hard not to be... well... resentful (strong word I know) when you're pregnant and feel like you gave up a lot, because it's true you did! some things are still completely doable and even expected at your age so by all means, momma... get your /moderate/ drink on! 🙌❤

I know how you feel, my bf is insensitive and teases me with his alcohol all the time like "you want som-- ooh, nevermind.". 😑 jerk. it does make me crave it though... especially when I see nice cocktails, I'm a sucker for those. it'll be worth the wait though, don't risk even a sip!

im scared if I drink once and awhile and Get a baby sitter I'm gonna look like a bad mom 😕 but I'm just gonna wait like a month after he's born and stuff. idk I miss drinking thu lol

You may be a mom. But you're also a human being. And we drink! Enjoy your beers. You deserve them!

@caseysmommy, you don't have to wait!! It doesn't make you a bad mom to go have a few drinks and enjoy yourself after an extremely long 10 months of growing a human!! Now if you go drinking every single night leaving the baby with whoever. That's a different story. But 1 night is fine. ENJOY IT. YOU DESERVE IT. hell I may have my husband sneak me a drink into L&D after baby boy comes! 😜
