I never really thought of it that way! Thank you! I just know that it's upsetting ya know? There are certain things I want and the cheapest place to get them is Target. Do you know if I get something and i don't have the receipt but the tags are still on it, can I return it to any store that sells that item? @poppys

unfortunately a lot of people don't look at the registries. or forget to click "I will buy" so you might end up with multiple of the same items. I'm going through the same. I used BabyList (an all-in-one registry) and only two things have been reserved by my MIL to buy for us at a later date. it's frustrating like I didn't just put in all that work for people not to care. but, whatever.

Yeah, it's upsetting. I just know I'll be upset when I open the presents and I get something different than the one I picked out you know? I'm trying to be positive but it's hard. :/@rainbowbaby2016

I think you have to return it to the same kind of store. like if it came from target it would have to be returned to a target. I think most stores want a receipt though. I think some will give you store credit without a receipt.

Usually people wait until last minute don't fret!!

I wouldn't mind store credit, lol. Just as long as I'm able to return something if I really dislike it or if I have doubles of things. Ya know?

have a note on your registry that says "Gift Receipts Needed Please" and hopefully people will leave them on the boxes for you.

I was just about to suggest that @rainbowbaby2016 thank you. that's really useful for the people getting you a gift so they know you would like one.

Everything you get from Target you can return and get store credit for. After I would get something from Target and it wasn't on my registry I would just add in after the fact and then return it. Either way if you don't like something just return it, and be happy your getting gifts! Some women don't get that option.. It's better to get something than nothing! Positive thinking!! 😊

I said in my post that I am grateful for what I'm getting, it's just if I'm registering then there is certain things I would actually want. That's kind of the point of a registration, lol. I don't know if I'll be able to return it if I don't have the receipt and I don't want to be stuck with doubles of things or things I really dislike. I didn't get half the things I registered for. Just return the things you don't like. I did. Like I said if you don't have the receipt just add the item to your registry and mark it as bought. Then go to the store and return it for store credit. I did that for a lot of items.

that's what happen with me my baby shower was October 17th and I did a registry also and there was only 2 people who bought from the registry but I was tripping because the gifts I got were still useful and stuff so I was okay with it

lol @lovebuggg2016 somebody gave me a girl gift haha I'm having a boy lol I was like OMG it's a boy not a girl lol I just kept a smile on my face .....but it's so many gifts I think u will be happy regardless
