I agree what you are around can be what you become just like an addict shouldn't be around addicts.

I know exactly what you are saying. My husbands best friend is single and talks to multiple girls. He is always around my husband and I and all he talks about is girls this girls that... I dont mind, but what does get to me is when he shows pictures of the girls to him and asks his opinion on if she is pretty... I dont like that my husband is always around him without me there because I know that they talk about girls and their appereances. Im not the jelous type but it is bothering. So I completly understand you. (sorry for the typo)

I don't necessarily think you have to be friends with someone in the same exact situation as you but it does help to have someone that can relate to you. I also don't think that having someone as your best friend can influence you to cheat and if you are that easily influenced it was obviously in you the whole time. My husband's friend cheats on his wife and my husband never would because he views marriage as a very sacred vow.
