Im just worried. I always got pregnant the first try. every single time. that was also 8 years ago. im almost 30,and been on the paragard for 3 years. just makes me Feel A little worried.

I used paraguard for 5 years and I will never use an IUD again. However, I got pregnant two months after I had it removed, miscarried and got pregnant again in September and I am currently 9 weeks.

@maybaby2016, why the change in mind with the paragard after 5 years of use? just curious :)

it was extremely painful at insertion and also at removal, when my on finally got it out (it was imbedded in my cervix) it was broken in half and they couldn't find the other piece. it was so painful I cried out loud. 😰 @tablefor6

my Dr put me to sleep during insert.said there's no use goin thru the pain (I tried in the office it was unbearable) and he wouldn't continue.so yeah, I'm freaked out about removal (Nov 17th)
