Thanks for all the brilliant advice. We went shopping again last night and spent 45 minutes in the shop speaking to a lovely sales assistant going through the various options. I quite liked the uppa baby cruz, for the height & reviews, but not so keen on the price (£800ish). My husband quite likes the oyster 2 as he's now in the mindset he would like a carrycot because she's going to be a winter baby. The oyster is looking at £730 all in for everything inc car seat & isofix.
Originally we looked at the silver cross reflex which has amazing reviews, doesn't need a carry cot & folds like a stroller but the sales assistant last night questioned the longevity of it, as at the end of the day it's a high end stroller whilst the above prams are prams.
We've still not fully decided, as we need to watch the pennies and I want to make sure we get a good deal (if that's possible), but that's an update of where we are.
This weekend it's new bathroom time so the pram situation will be taking a back seat until the bathroom gets a bath and the downstairs toilet gets a sink... Wish us luck.

I'm the same Im always buggy watching! we've gone with that colour because it's more for both so can use if we have a girl. I really like the icandy ones but refused to pay that price when the value of the Quinny is better. my mums always had quinnys and never had any problems either and I also don't drive so will be walking alot this is one of the reasons I went for that as the wheels are nice and big :) 👍 @xxtxx

@vic22 I have an icandy peach designer edition on preorder but I'm considering selling it now as the price was a little excessive. I had a quinny with my last baby and it was fab and worth its weight in gold, I don't drive so I walk everywhere and never had an issues with it. I also love the customs you can get made for them. I really like cosatto as well. If I sell my icandy I'm considering getting a quinny buzz xtra, quinny modd or some sort of cosatto travel system. I really like the buzz xtra in novel nile but if I do get one I'm swaying more towards purple as we are having a girl. Sorry about the long post I am completely buggy obsessed. I literally have a problem and buggy stalk people in shops and out and about 🙈🙈🙈 x

I agree @xxtxx I've just brought the Quinny buzz xtra in the new 2015 range, in novel neil. the colour is lovely! I love the whole look of the pushchair and is handy for anything. :) I love mine can't wait to use it as I walk alot! x

Quinny buzz xtra is good if you are on a budget. I know you said you don't want to pay too much but you do generally get what you pay for I find from experience x

the Isafe travel system has it all.and for a great price. its noy known that much but after buying my pram ide happily tell everyone their awesome. bright colour choices aswell. its everything you need and want in a pram for ages newborn+ x
