Ok so since this seems like a foreign concept ima let it be known. Yes ive used free sperm donors this is one of the FB groups theres donors and recipients. If there was a huge risk the donors wouldnt trust a platform like FB to be able to give their sperm to theyd have links to their donor accts at the reputable sperm banks to help recipients. Sometimes you know your body better than everyone else. Not every woman will produce high levels of hcg throughout pregnancy some it can take weeks some it can take months don’t trust a blood test don’t trust a urine test trust your heart and when you know it’s times it’s time this doctor was not a gynecologist so he did not give me a quantitative blood test to actually see what my hcg level is at I hope this helps some of you ladies who just feel like giving up and stop testing because of what everyone else thinks or what a doctor tells you trust your body you know your body better than a blood test and a pee test and god will lead you to the right path

This might be stupid, sorry but my OB hasn't even spoken to me about this.. If you don't donate it, what do you do with the cord bank? Baby keeps it?? Or will it be thrown out? What happens to it?

@martaboo, yep! just google "public cord blood donation" and whatever state you live in. Not many women are aware of this great cause which can truly save lives.

@juliannap, it is thrown out as "medical waste," which is why it's so important to donate. Throwing away cord blood is essentially throwing away the cure for some very sick patients.

@juliannap, and not a dumb question at all! It's unfortunate that most ob/gyns don't discuss this option with their patients when the impact of donating is so great.

I'm going to look into that.. I'm deff going to do that. That's weird that my OB hasn't even brought that up to me.. I did hear about it and googled it up but even after doing that it never made sense to me; I didn't understand the concept of it but I do now, thanks to you. Lol 💖
