my mil says my husband and I have ruined our children. she says children should be seen not heard, speak only when spoken to and when they cry you just let them cry....,😬psh please, go on with that sh.

They do me the same way ! Say I spoiled my baby and it's my fault she is a cry baby . She came out the womb a cry baby it's just her personality I'm not gonna neglect my baby and make her feel I'm not that for her so EXACTLY WYS!!! they piss me off so bad wit that stuff

same! my baby literally never cries unless he's in the Car seat bc that's the only place I can't fix whats wrong. so it breaks my heart hearing him cry. but that's the one place I can't help him :(

My mother and aunt come from the generation where they were always told to let your baby "CRY IT OUT!" They would tell me over and over again how I was just spoiling them by picking them up for every cry or told me I was holding them too much. I'm sorry... I'm NOT going to let my baby CRY to sleep. It's my job as a mother to soothe my baby. My baby was nestled in my womb for 9 months, day and nite, round the clock... of course they want warmth and comforting!!

Amen!!! I'll hold, cuddle, snuggle, and pamper my babies til they're grown. They needn't expect it from the world but I'm not the world... I'm mama!
