I personally use coconut oil. I put it on her head about 20 mins before her bath, and then rub her head in circular motions with the washcloth during the bath. She doesn't have Cradle Cap, but she does have dry, flaky skin. The coconut oil seems to help.(:
My sons pediatrician told me to use olive oil and massage it on the areas that are bad then let it sit on his head for a while and then to brush or comb his hair. It works really good it starts coming loose while im massaging it in. After im done I give him a bath and brush his hair and it usually gets rid of most of it. It took a couple times to get it all the first time
my daughter had it, her pediatrician told us to put baby oil on it about 15 minutes before her bath...it will soak into the flakes and loosen it up and after her bath I would brush and got a lot out. to be honest I only remembered to do it a few times lol but it was working.
