@ligermama, Yeah I figured it wouldn't happen to me but it just that fear and ftm nerves plus my spine is straight and not really messed up like hers

The chances that would happen to you are so slim but it's always smart to avoid unnecessary procedures!!

@ligermama, I know some moms dont have any issues with induction but im just freak out from her experience I was 14 when it happened and I remembered everything she went through and they almost lost her too. My uncle talked to a lawyer too about sueing them BC of her issues. But he dropped everything after she told Him too.

That is awful @xslowlyxbrokenx! But try not to worry too much! You can safely go to 42 weeks without needkng induction and I'm sure you won't go nearly that far! No contractions does not equal going late. But, if you do... Advocate for yourself. I knkw doctors can be very pushy but if you don't want to be induced you can absolutely say no (and should say no) !!

Thankyou @xoxo512070 And @ligermama. She had a horrible time giving birth. She was induce that morning and the contraction she said about killed her this was her second kid btw they gave her the epi it didnt work at all they tried again a second time she has a crooked spine is why it didnt work. The second time they almost paralyzed her she couldn't move or anything. They made her push when she in that state BC the baby started coming and she tore a third degree tear. My uncle was hiding in the curtains he said it was a horror story in the room. She was in the hospital a while too and had so much trouble afterwards. She said her first was the easiest birth but if she had my little cousin first she would never had a another Baby.

Sometimes you may be having BH but no even feel them

with my first I had zero contractions or BH before I had him and my water broke and had him a week early, so it really is no indication

I just dont want to be induce BC of what happened to my aunt when she was induce.

your good you not suppose to have any until labor ... why would you want contractions ? those things or TERRIBLE having no contractions determines that your be will be over due

That doesn't determine whether you'll be overdue or not, I didn't start getting any contractions until recently I'm 36 weeks, I could go overdue or she could come early, you never really know due dates are just a guess

I'm 38 weeks and I'm wondering the same thing that's actually my fear
