Started pumping with the hospital grade pump yesterday and I can say it's discouraging to be pumping ever couple or hours and to get nothing, I have to remind myself that my body wasn't quite ready to have to do all these things just yet so since I had him 8 weeks early...

Don't feel discouraged sweetie. I had ny son 3 months early and it took 4 days for my milk to come in. Now my son will be 1 month old this friday and I have tons of milk stored in ny deep freezer. Keep try ans drink plenty of water. Set an alarm to pump every 3 hours.

my milk didn't even come in until my baby was 5 days old. don't get discouraged. he's almost 4 months now and I still don't get out much when I pump. he's exclusively breastfed too. everyone is different and your baby will get exactly what he needs. congrats mama💙

Breast pump covered by insurance

I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.

babybump_user You may want to ask your doctor for a prescription for a hospital grade pump if you
