just been for a 36 week scan and she estimated the baby is already nearly 7lbs. all my friends who have had children say their 'estimations' were completely wrong and not to listen. but this means if he puts the average half a pound a week he will end up a 9lbs plus.
I was told mine was 7-7.5lbs she come out 5lb 1!!!! X
In exactly the same boat hun. I have another scan on Monday... I also have shit loads of fluid! 😕
thanks @kathry puts my mind at rest a bit. all the other growth scans have been perfect. just this one seems a bit bigger. but she said it's still normal. so fingers crossed.
They told me my girl was gonna be 10 pound but she was only 7:14
My mum gave birth naturally to my baby brother and he nearly weighed 11lbs. I was 9lbs 4oz and 3 days over due. My mum only got a small tear with me xD Don't worry about estimates xD They never get it right from what I have seen xD 😍 x
I had a scan around 37 weeks and Phoebe measured 6lbs 9. when she was born at nearly 42 weeks, she was 6lbs 9.5oz....don't believe exactly what they say. it can be wrong as it is only and estimate. baby could weigh more or less.

Just done this...
Am i actually 2-3 weeks or is that just a estimate?
Yesterday's estimated weight on my baby during the ultrasound he weighed 7lb 11oz do you think he will fit into newborn clothes the day he's born ? if he comes out at around 8lbs? Or should I take 0-3 just in case ??
Ultrasound weight estimate
Hey ladies ! Just wondering if any of your babies ended up actually weighing what they estimated on your ultrasounds ?! Had one today ( 41 weeks ) and they estimated him at 10 lbs 2 oz ???.
did any one have a growth scan at 34 weeks if so what was there estimated weight
My daughter is measuring a week ahead, new estimated due date 7/29/17😄
