so my bf cosigned for his mother to get a car about 2 years ago and within this time she has missed…

it was none of ur mans business to sign for her. shouldn't of done it

well when his mother comes and asks him too causr she cant get a car thats kinda what families do to help each other she should be a fucking adult and pay her shit on time or is that not what adults do!?!

I hear after paying so much on the car the Co signer could be removed. you should call and find out if it could be done

@mwe tried but unfortunately you have to pay on time for at least 2 years for him to be removed and she hasnt been 😔 its just exceptionally frustrating when someone doesnt care that there actions are affecting other people we really wanted to cut back on as much as possible before the baby arrived

Gotta learn that you can't do for everyone, not even family. Sadly, not everyone is responsible enough to take care of business like paying bills on time, etc. and if she couldn't get a car herself, an alarm should have went off in his head right then. It sucks that she is acting that way. He should look about being taken off as cosigner. I don't know how that works tho.

@breloya, yea he knew i tbink he just really hoped she woumdnt screw him over he is the youngest and i think he just feels obligated to help her and the rest of his family idk why but its just really sad that she literally does not care

if you go in and talk to the bank they might be able to even take the car or do something I don't know how it works. but I mean there has to be something you guys can do

Trust me, I've been there with some of my own family. I've been trying to take care of my older brother on and off for years along with my older sister. He kept screwing us over. After a while, you stop caring so much and realize that they have to grow up. Hopefully he realizes that sooner than later. It sucks because you want to help your family, but sometimes it's the ones you love who do you wrong. I hope everything works out, especially because you two have a baby. You and your child should be his main focus now.

yeah that car is yours too. so you some kinda right to it. I would figure it out.

Yea they did that to me so that way it would be under my name only

@gabbii, they told us the only thing we can do is to either take the car ir have her refinance alone

I would have him go to whatever bank it is and have it refinanced with only her on it, they can't force him to stay on it, they'll run her credit and if hers isn't good they won't let her keep it or her interest and payments will be super high
