@trezelle I love having a little business at home. I do vinyl and glass etching. I love being able to work when I want and can and I get to take care of my children

@karnawest, in most cases you can get a really great second hand machine. I'm trying to teach myself to sew so I can get a business hoing. I honestly don't want to go work for anyone ever again.

@trezelle Yes! I have a friend who does embroidering and sewing at home while she raises her Child and she does great work!!! I just need her to sit down and show me lol. I know the basics I just need a good machine

@eternalsunshine4, a small quilt or blanket is a great place to start! I love fashion, I applied to fit got approved but didn't go.... lol. pintrest and YouTube have alot of tuts so you can uterine them! @karnawest it's a great skill to have.

@trezelle I know what you mean. If I don't make a list/have a plan before I start a sewing project, it's usually a flop. I took garment construction and design in college and really excelled but I work really, really slowly. It's been 10 years since I've seen anything. 😬😔 It makes me sad that I didn't take more pride in developing those talents. But, it's never too late! You'll do great! 😊 We can cheer each other on. Lol I find out the sex of baby on the 12th, so I am planning to devise some things to sew, after that. A small quilt/blanket, to start, maybe?

@eternalsunshine4 I just realized that I'm missing a bunch of essential things to actually get the sewing machine to work. Guess I'll start another day. As lame as it sounds sewing scares me and I have no idea why. I'm going to get over it though.
