Moms with nipple piercings: what week did you remove them for breastfeeding?

I still have mine in. I don't think you need to take them out until you actually get ready to have the baby unless they're bothering you. I've heard it doesn't effect breast feeding or anything so I'm waiting a little longer

I had to remove mines unfortunately when I was about 5months....my nipples was super sensitive and they hurted too bad

with my first I took them out around 7months and then got them done again after she was about 2...I'm currently 19wks and still have them in....

I took them out at 6 weeks the pain was unbearable and my nipple started to swell and was sensitive .

My doctor asked me to take mine out if I planned to breast feed....I have read as well that it doesn't effect breast feeding if they "healed correctly" having a pierced nipple u could possibly have a blocked duct due to how it healed but won't know until u actually begin to breastfeed. I didn't wanna chance it so I took mine out at about 13weeks and mine were even more sensitive after I pierced them, my breast have grown soo much I used to hit them on the doors in the house (idk how) but even laying in bed on them hurt so I just agreed to remove them....
