Birthing pool set up and waiting. Had a good midwife appointment despite having an awful day (migraine and lots of hip pain made me a super grump😕) but I'm still measuring behind so I think Lennon will just be small like his big bro 💙 impatiently waiting 😁 Can't wait to meet you little boy!!
I didn't get to use my pool but I did birth at home with my midwife. It was an incredible experience. I pray you have a great time!
My absolute favorite inspiring home birth hypnobirth water birth video is on youtube called "Daisy's HypnoBirth Homebirth - Waterbirth" if you're interested in checking it out. That woman is incredibly inspiring for the birth I would dream of 😁💛
Natural birth doesn't have to be painful despite the stigma that comes with the words "natural birth"- it's hard to say for sure tho since everyone's pain tolerance is different so there's no way to say if it is or not. My birth school is a huge advocate of seeking out positive births to help stop the stigma of birth meaning pain, which I love about them because I've researched a lot of videos and books on positive birthing and hypnobirthing and home birthing and it's pretty amazing to see the birthing experience in such a positive light 💛
I'm planning a home birth but depending on how things go, yes I may also be having a water birth! 😄 so excited!! The water is actually supposed to help with any pain and I've been doing a hypnobirthing course also
I saw a video of a pool birth. Looked extremely painful but the upside was it was fast and the baby is pretty much clean when you hold it for the first time :D
We have an adapter for a hose that we'll attach to our downstairs bathroom sink to fill it up, but you don't start filling it until you're about ready to use it to ensure the water stays hot- you also turn up the temp on your hot water heater prior to filling. Then as it cools down, you can keep adding hot water from the sink if needed or even boil water to add @mommyslittleman
