hey! I'm new to this site and I need some advice. I had the implanon in for 3 months. I had it removed 7 days ago. my boyfriend and I had sex on the day I had it removed and a few days before it was removed. Within those few days I was taking an herb called St. johns wort which I found out that it interacts with the implanon so a back up birth control is needed. What Planned Parenthood said. I started spotting a couple days ago both times its redish brown. I'm having symptoms that feel more like pregnancy than pms. I would like to hear from women who have been on/dealt with side effects or anything related to the implanon :). Thank you. looking forward to some responses!

well it's out now. so that's why I was wondering if I could of gotten pregnant when I got it out

I'm thinking it could be implant-bleeding, or maybe the hormones from the St.JohnsWort messing with the birth control. I would take a pregnancy test in a week or two just to make sure. That implant birth control has soooo many weird side effects, i wouldn't be surprised if it was just that. (:

no. I have only had spotting when I was pregnant with my last baby. he's 8 months old. so yes you could say so

I need some advice. Me and my fiancé are currently trying to become pregnant and haven't had success is there anything you guys have tried to get pregnant? Also I was on the depo shot for 3& a half years I've been off it for a year and a half now and never got my period back. But a couple weeks ago I had some spotting with blood. It lasted a couple days and went away then yesterday I had some spotting this time with no blood. I'm really trying to have a baby soon. It's all me and my fiancé have ever wanted I'm just curious if anyone had some advice thankyou!

Need some reassurance. TMI sorry in advance. I stopped bleeding about ten days ago when my baby was 5 and a half weeks. Husband and I have been having unprotected sex using withdrawal method since about 4 weeks PP, and I'm exclusively breastfeeding. Yesterday I randomly had some light spotting it was clear discharge with pink to red streaks. I'm freaking out that it was implantation bleeding!! Has anyone had this happen to them? Tell me your experience? I'll be okay with being pregnant IF that's what it was, but I'd prefer not having my fifth baby so Soon after my fourth! Lol. Thanks guys!
