Ladies, where did your baby sleep when you first brought it home? Debating if I need to get a bassinet or something. We just have a crib.

I have a co sleeper and a rock n play. going to have to figure out which works better. my other kids slept in their crib in my room.
His crib is across the hall. Not ready for him to be that far away especially in his newborn waking up every few hours phase.
He sleeps in a bassinet next to my bed so when he wakes up he's close and I can always just lean over and peek inside b

The crib is in the room next to us. Several people have told me about the Fisher Price Rock n' Play, so I was going to look into that to have in the room.
My son slept in bed with us but that only lasted like a week, then he slept in his swing because that's the only place he would sleep. Then we eventually moved him into his crib. Is your babies crib in your room? I definitely suggest having a swing, bassinet, or pack n play in your room for them to sleep in.
My daughter slept in a bassinet. I was living with my dad at the time and there was no room for her crib.
