Is she white? Does she looks like her daddy? I thought that if one of the parents is black the child will be black whatever 😳

@leila1, I used to think the same thing, until my best friend who was colored had her baby girl raven who came out white as her daddy with black hair like her mommy :) @trezelle ur baby girl is beautiful by the way :)

Yea her daddy is white, my entire pregnancy I had no idea what she would look like color wise or what her eyes would look like (he and his family all have blue eyes). My midwife said she might get darker, yet still I'm so grateful to God for entrusting me to care for this little miracle. I'm in awe of her everyday. @aliya0915 thanks honey. I'm working hard to not be obsessed with her lol.

@tiffanymanuel Hun, if you are using the word "colored" to not sound racist, that's not going to work in your favor. There are more words to describe African Americans than that.

@tiffanymanuel, I honest it wasn't your intent to come off as disrespectful love. However words can be misconstrued based on numerous reasons. I am not upset, I do appreciate your apology but I hope you understand where @queeneden and @aliare coming from. It's a word associated with slavery and you hit a nerve when you used it. African American is a better reference title. I'm pretty sure none of us hate you for it but it'd be best to use a better term going forward.
