Question for breastfeeding moms that have other children.... How do you manage your time? Dealing with a newborn that use me as a pacifier and still have to make time for my other kids... I feel like I'm always locked in my room for feedings ( I have older kids). I'm feeling bad because I decided to stop breast feeding today after only 2 weeks. My boobs hurt, nipples sore, and I still have my other kids... I'm feeling HORRIBLE for my decision but don't know what else to do....

Idk if your husband helps u or not but I usually feed my daughter and I hand her to him and he burps her and sleeps her. I have a 11 9 and 4 year old there in school all day and I usually have them do homework at the table and I sit with them and talk about there day if she needs to be feed I'll do it there my boys are okay with it. and I'll sit with them and watch TV . breastfeeding is a task it self so during the day I'll feed her and sleep with her while boys are at school once there home and so is my So I'll get the boys to help me clean while I cook . they don't do a perfect job but makes things easier...as for nipple pain I usually put breast milk on them and let them air dry before I put pad and bra back...
The newborn stage is demanding no matter how you choose to feed. I ebf and my kids haven't seen me much since the baby was born. I just force myself to get out of my room whenever I can. I nurse in the living room sometimes. After she eats and is changed, I tend to my twins. It's possible to balance. As for the nipple pain, I recommend coconut oil directly on your nipples whenever you need it.
I'm having the same problem right now... It's starting to get frustrating. I have a two year old son that has been going insane since his sissy was born. 😑 I'm thinking about supplementing so I don't have to completely stop breastfeeding.. hope you find something that works.! 😃
I let my son be around me all the time I don't hide when his brother eats but if his brother was okay & wasn't being fussy (usually when in his swing) I would spend as much time with my oldest doing what ever he wanted to do
