Im already distancing myself from people because of the pregnancy. Especially my "best friend". So far she made me telling her I was pregnant about her by saying "Stop you're scaring me, I'm paranoid I am and this is making me think it's a sign." She couldn't stop thinking about herself for three seconds to listen to me in the most emotional time of my life. She then went on to criticize the names I picked out (not telling anyone else now), told me that morning sickness probably isn't that bad, and literally said "No matter what you do, give the baby your last name. Not his." That is none of her damn business. If I want to give MY child his or her fathers last name I sure as hell will. Ugh sorry for the rant, I'm just pissed. 😑

I'm doing the same. I think it's the mommy instinct.
Em·
@tchrmama13, I think it's because my priorities are so different now. All the stuff that used to seem important isn't anymore, my baby is my #1 priority now.

I've grown so close to one of my mommy friends but everyone else n

I hate people who are know it alls. one cliche does not fit all situations.
Megan·
@199618, I know. but other people's priorities are to tell you what to do
Em·
@fifismommy, it's easier to talk to people who are moms. All that's happening in my life now is being pregnant so that's what I talk about.
Em·
my chrmama13, parenting is such a personal thing and all the choices you make with your child are so personal, I couldn't imagine telling another woman what to do with or how to raise her child.

@tchrmama13,

How can she sit up and tell u not to give your child the fathers last name? She crazy that's not her place at all!! @199618
Em·
@chantebrandon, exactly! I was PISSED. Not her place at all. It's his baby too, it's allowed to have his last name.
Megan·
@199618, I'm a teacher and I was at a meeting today and some teachers kids were walking in and out of the room the whole time. I sighed bc it annoyed me and one of coworkers said , "get used to it!" like i would have to accept interruptions once I have a kid. I told her...uh no my kid wouldn't be going in and out of a classroom for over an hour interrupting. and listen fucker I work with kids so I know
Megan·
sorry to hijack your post
Lissette·
you can do both last names..just saying. but she gotta stop acting like u making a big deal. like morning sickness is no joke
Em·
my chrmama13, "Get used to it" is probably my new least favorite sentence. And it's okay lol!

My moms want me to give my baby her last name or mine. Like seriously he is his fathers child. I hate when ppl think of only themselves.
Em·
@forever_hungry, right? And she was like "It's all worth it in the end." And I'm like well yeah I know that but it doesn't make me any less nauseous right now. And the last name isn't a big deal to me really. I know that's my baby.
Em·
@aydensmommy, I just want to say "If you want to choose a baby's name and how to raise one, just go have your own and stop with the opinions on mine."
Jasmine Stilinski·
Yes I promise but I don't want to hurt her feelings, even tho she asks for it.
Lissette·
yeah its all worth it but shes not helping you think that way at the moment by saying those things. especially if your feeling at your worst
Em·
@aydensmommy yeah it's probably different with family! Mine won't even talk about the baby with me because they're still in shock over it haha.
Em·
@forever_hungry, exactly! I don't talk to her much anymore. I'm tired of my pregnancy being about her.
Lissette·
smh i woukdnt either. she obviously doesnt care how u feel but wants someone to talk to
