I was gonna do an epidural but now I'm thinking no Epidural. I have a decent pain tolerence (I know it will still hurt a ton) and I was talking to my mom about it as she has never had an epidural with any of her three kids. She's pushing me to get the epidural and I just feel she's doubting weather I'm capable of doing it without... which makes me doubt it too :(

u can do it ! u can always change ur mind later but ur body can handle the pain u just have to stay calm and breathe

You can do it if its really what you want. It hurts like hell but breathing through it helps so much. You'll find your own way to manage the pain. I would stand up and sway my hips back and forth through the contractions. I labored for 10 hours before I had pain meds. I was so exhausted that the nurse talked me into it so I could relax and try to rest. I ended up getting pain medication any way because I had a c section after 14 hours

You can do it, just stay focused. I have had all six of mine medication and epidural free, I am also planning to have my twins the same way

I believe anybody can do it! my plan it's to try but not take away the option to get it. being open minded is the best way to go in, in my opinion.

you can do it , if your mind is set on not having one you dont need one . i didnt have one i wasnt about the needle

I had one with three of my kids, and went without one with my last child. I am not getting one this time around. We were made to be able to tolerate large amounts of pain, us women. We are so much stronger than we give ourselves credit for. If you want to get one, get it becauae YOU want it, not because your mom, although ahes trying to help, ia telling you to.
