Ok need some advice i run a daycare and i have had this 2yr old little girl for over a yr she has a hard time pooping the drs have put her on a cap full of miralax and also added 3/4 a sippy cup of prune juice on top of the miralax every day and she is still having issues i have days where i get sometimes 10 poopy diapers or none today she had one so far and after nap woke up in crying today telling me her belly hurt her mom didnt want to come get her but after 15mins i gave her no option she was curled up in a ball for a hr crying till her mom showed up now shes no where near over weight also doesnt eat alot the parents wont take my advise to tell the drs that she wants to see a specialist isnt a cap full of miralax and prune juice all in one day to much for a 2yr old for long periods of time like a yr of them trying to fix this???? Anyone have children with digestive track issues i hate seeing this little girl in so much pain

@lucky20074, it definitely sounds like there is a much bigger problem they are missing. I can't believe her pediatricians aren't suggesting they see a specialist. The second I mentioned my son was having stomach issues they ran a ton of tests and we see a gastro Dr every 6 weeks for a check up. Poor little girl :(
@kmally, Her diet is pretty normal fruit veggies i work with a food program so i hit all food groups ive cut out all gassy food because she curls over in pain even with one piece of broccoli but and all my kids eat the same but she isnt a great eater besides fruits and veggies she loves which i limit
@ncorso214, right and im closeing for maternity leave next friday im hoping the next daycare sees and continues to say that this isnt normal and on top of all the miralax and prune juice if she doesnt go for 3days drs tell them to give her a exlac and i had to say she cant come in until after 24hr of taking it i have a feeling somethings wrong and they are messing her more up with all these meds to make her go
What is the rest of her diet like? It sounds like it's linked to her diet.
That definitely doesn't seem right at all and if that was my child I would be seeing a specialist. Unfortunately you can't force her parents to seek more help.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know

I have a question for u ladies that already have their newborns.. so my baby loves sleeping during the day and she is only 10 days old she wakes up at night and can't seem to get her down... I need to put her on a schedule does anyone recommend anything? she is also loosing weight I need to get her to gain weight... any suggestions? need help please
@ncorso214, Right i think her mom plays it off like this is nothing to the drs and the drs tell her its normal for a child to go even up to 10times a day even if every day and be on all those meds and not like she is passing anything close to solid its all mush im praying she does somthing and fights the drs today
