when they do a fetal echo ultrasound for baby is it in 3D? I'm confused on how it's different and why a ultrasound tech doesn't do it?

for the heart? I have a 4D ultrasound scheduled but I go to ultrasounds every week and didn't understand why they couldnt use the heart pictures they've taken?
