Okay here's my labor story

at 11:30pm on Thursday September 17th I came into the hospital having contractions every 5 minutes. I was still at 3 cm and 80% effaced, and sense I was on the induction list they decided to keep me. Well between 12am and 3am I had gone from a 3cm to 5cm my contractions were every minute to 30 seconds apart and we're off the scale of how bad they were I was getting maybe 30 seconds between contractions sometimes if get no break at all ... So I got the epidural... It worked till about 6am then I started slowly feeling my contractions again which some were so painful I was throwing up.. After 16 hours of hard labor it I was finally at a 10 and it was time to push... By this time the epidural wore off completely (turns out it didn't but I'll explain later) I pushed for 2 hours with little change I was exhausted and in so much pain I couldn't do it anymore ... Dr checked me and said I needed to have a c section cause her head was stuck... By this point I was passing out from exhaustion inbetween my back to back contractions and still having the urge to push.. Got down to the OR and they took the epidural out... Turns out it wasn't even connected anymore it had dislodged from my back and that's why it wasn't working anymore .. And they went to give me a spinal block.. Well the spinal block didn't work they went to cut me open and I could feel everything.. So they tried giving me a numbing shot to numb the area which didn't work at all I could still feel everything... So they gave me kedimen (or how ever you spell it) and it still didn't work so finally they put me to sleep *my dr told me they gave me enough pain medicine to fully sedate a large animal* so after all of that they finally started surgery where they realized my uterus was still contracting extremely hard trying to push my daughter out.. Which had just gotten her more stuck.. So instead of a normal c section my dr had to cut me vertically and pull her out butt first then have someone push her head from my vagina while he pulled her out of the incision... So September 18th, 2015 at 4:42pm little miss Audrey Renee Mendez was born at 41 weeks and 4 days weighing 7lb and 6oz and 29 3/4 inches long 😍Then sewed me up and sent me to recovery and sent my boyfriend and daughter to the nicu to monitor her.. I woke up 30 min after the surgery got wheeled to my room and turns out no one had heard anything and the last thing my boyfriend heard was that he had to leave the room and I was screaming in pain cause I could feel the cuts being made... So I get to my post pardon room and I'm waiting and everyone comes in and is telling me how beautiful my daughter is and how perfect she is (and I still haven't seen her) so I call the nurse in and tell her if they don't bring my daughter to me I'm walking to the nicu ... So finally after 16 hours of labor 2 hours of pushing, 2 hours of surgery and being dosed with every pain medicine they had in the hospital and 3 hours waiting for them to bring my daughter in to the room I finally got to hold her 😍😍😍 hours and hours of unnessasary pain but it was so worth it
