My baby is 1 mo old today!

My daughter had a clogged tear duct n her right eye. The doctor said it could take up to 18 mo to clear up which is way too long cuz it constantly leaked n had gooey stuff on it especially when she would wake up. So I googled it n read that breastmilk would clear it up. So i put a drop of breastmilk n it once a day for 4 days n it cleared up already. I never knew breastmilk had so many benefits...

Ive been upset all day. My baby has lost less than a pound since she was born last wed. She weighed 7lbs 10.6 oz at birth. I had to make a follow up appt for this past mon. They were concerned that she has a little jaundice n she lost weight. So i had another follow up today. Ive been breastfeeding her every 2 hours n massaging while she feeds to help her to get more. She feeds for 20-45 min each time... She has wet diapers n she poops once a day. But she lost two more oz since mon. Im doin ever...

This one has me worn out.

Do any of u mommies put your babies to sleep on their stomach? My baby cries if i lay her on her back or side without a pacifier. Im trying to breastfeed n giving her the pacifier is making it difficult. N she cries if it falls out of her mouth. So i dont know what to do. I tried lying her on her stomach today n she slept with no prob. I have three other kids n they all slept on their stomachs but the nurse was adamant about "back to sleep". Please let me know ur opinions .
