Im curious... How many of u think semen or sex helps speed up any cervical changes in relation to labor? Like when u have already started to dilate or efface. I believe because it happened with my oldest daughter. I had no contractions the day before my due date n that night i had sex n in about an hour i was contracting... Then i lost my mucus plug. So when i got to the hospital they admitted me n i had her on her due date... What do u guys think? If u have tried it please comment.

Have not tried it but my midwife very clearly told me. Closer to your due date have sex literally ALL the time so we won't have to induce you with this baby

The gel they use to lubricate in the hospital when checking your cervix have the same chemical in it as seamen. And that chemical is proven to make your cervix become efaced when you start to dial age. So if you are dilated sex (seamen) is actually scientifically proven to speed up the process.

Honestly I feel like it did help dilate !! but didn't break my water ugh!! Idk what I'm gonna do this time cus my sex drive is at a 0!! 😖

Yep. Sex releases oxytocin which can trigger labor. Doesn't always work but it sure can! And it's worth a try.

I've been doing that but nothing happens. I don't really get a lot of contractions after and haven't lost my plug. I don't think she wants to leave lol
