They told me in my first tri I had HG as well !!! 😔 but with taking the medicine and not being sick with it makes me think I don't have it ... I'm at a new doc though .. If I was at my first one that diagnosed me with that there probably wouldn't be any question about me staying on the medicine , bc you're right it helps significantly for the better @jjbutton

@jade90kdcicg, @jade90kdcicg, yep. When I went to the hospital in my first trimester for fluids they said I had hyperemesis gravidarum. I didn't believe them since at the time I was just nauseous (Throwing up came later). I was taking two types of nausea meds and had a home iv for awhile in the first trimester. After the second time without meds I looked HG up...symptoms were there. Even the severe change in mental state when I was sick. It was like the first trimester again. I knew it just wasn't right. FYI: if you are the curious type here's an article in HG. If you stress out over stuff-don't read it. 😁 I'm the curious type. ссылка However, I have to say, the medication has helped me significantly so that I can deal with the minor discomforts. 😊

Reading these experiences is notttt making me want to try to go without lol. @miranda4 yes I hope we do too!! Maybe I should just call in the am and ask for more anyway.... 😕 around 19 weeks I tried to reduce to one at night. My morning I was throwing up and my doctor said to stay on it the entire time. Around 30 weeks I ran out (because it took 14 days to get it refilled). After 20 hours, I was throwing up and dry heaving. It took 3 full days to get back in my system until I felt normal. I hope you do better. I know it's not fun.

Wow poor you mine was not that bad but if I would of stayed off it that would have happened 😞 I just hope we get better

Yes I forgot to take once and omgee it was like full force nauseated all day vomiting everything I ate o no it was bad

I have the b6 and unisom from a couple months ago I tried to do that and see if it would work and I couldn't get it to... That's awful 😔 hopefully it gets better for you @mamaanderson

I started weaning myself off by going from 2 at night to 1 to actually cutting it in half.. but I took my last one last night and went out and bought b6 and unisom to replace it. I already know how awfully sick I get when I don't take it and I'm 23 weeks, it's not going to go away for me. 😕

No you can't that's how I was taking it as well but I was able to stop at 16 weeks

When I first started taking it I was around 7 weeks and been on it since, in the beginning when it was real bad I took 2 at night and one in the morning then started takin 2 at night and for a couple months I've been taking only one at night so I can't wean down any more ... @kartersmom

I took that as well and I had to kind of ween myself off of it. do you take it like the directions say?
