Did anyone else that has had their babies tear their urethra?? When I was pushing they told me to stop because the cord was around her neck and my dr had to reach inside me and cut the cord, when he did so he tore me soooo bad. I didn't tear anywhere else but there. My mom stopped counting stitches at 15, I didn't feel that bad until 2 days later and now I can't pee without it burning to the point that I'm literally in tears before I even pee. I can't walk, cough, sneeze, sit, lay. It's so terrible.
Any suggestions on how to make it not so painful or what I can do to make it heal faster? I've tried so many things :(

Does the peri bottle not help? I had a c section so I had a catheter and one of the nurses pulled on it and I tore a little so if I didnt have my bottle full of warm water peeing was excruciating.

I've tried the bottle. It makes it so much worse but I still use it every time to stay cleaner. They also gave me some dermol spray or something like that to numb it and nothing. @and er.s95

when I had surgery they have me stint in mine and honestly I understand how you feel it's awful so I would use icy hot like my life depended on it and when I would go pee I get a cup of hot water and pour it on my area when I peed. but I would also make sure I could always feel my icy hot on it too so it would kinda make it feel better. doesn't take all the pain away but I could pee.
