Got added to the induction list ! Hopefully I go into labor sooner though on my own 🙏So I had my OB appt today and for the last month I've had headaches extremely bad and now they are noticing swelling and I have pains on my right under my rib so they added me to the induction list for preeclampsia symptoms ! Thoughts on induction ? For people who got induced how was it? Did it hurt ? How long did it take ? How long was your hospital stay ? Did it work for you ? Did it not ? How far along were you mommies? Sorry I'm a ftm so I'm interested in everything about it since I've never done it. Tell me your stories ladies please 🙏
Thank you for sharing I'm so nervous and want a good outcome ! I hope it works for me or that she comes sooner ! @ce5ce
I went in to check if my water broke my due date and they indeed up keeping me because her heart rate was "too steady"😑😑 they got the IV in which hurt like a Mofo, especially since they busted a vein in two different places😑. they had to get the anesthesiologist to get a good vein cause I was scared so all my veins were "hiding" (I was not ready because when they told me my water was still intact I'm thinking sweet, I can go home but they were like nope, you're ours😑) they started my on pitocin overnight since I was already 75%thinned out and 3cnt dilated. they started me on the lowest dose and worked up I think every hour. by 8am I was still at 3cnt but 100%thinned out but I was disappointed and those contractions were the devil😭 by 11 I caved and asked for the epidural because she wouldn't let me walk around to get comfortable since they had to monitor the baby and get "too steady heart rate"😑. they gave me the epidural at the lowest dose so I can have enough feeling to push. that dose worked for me because by 2pm I was 10CNT. she pooped and swallowed a bit of it but they cleared her throat and she was fine. she came out crying at 3:37pm 😀 I just have you my labor story😂😂 sorry
Went in for the induction at 7 am. Started pitocin iv, and increased the amount every couple of hours. The contractions came right on top of each other, no breaks, thanks to the pit. But only about two hours of really difficult labor, then it was time to push. Two contractions worth of pushing and he was born. I managed to go without the epidural and it was totally worth it, beautiful recovery. 8.5 hours total labor time.
