It doesn't matter the color you still need to be checked to make sure. With my oldest daughter I spotted some and everything was ok but with my second pregnancy I started out just spotting really light and it ended up as a miscarriage but both was very early in the pregnancy you are farther and need to be checked.

At least call your on call doctor line and see what they say but I would just go straight to L&D
