Well I guess I can't see a doctor until after October 1st sometime. My insurance is taking its sweet time switching network providers for me. I'm calculating, I'll be about 20 weeks into my pregnancy until I actually get to see a doctor. Kind of scarey but there's nothing I can do.

Well, I would but you won't believe this. The clinic I have been trying to get into will not give me an appointment without my insurance. I'll have to have the money up front at the visit too if they gave me my visit.

I would say go and have them bill you since your insurance should be back billing anyway ?

Getting into a free clinic around here is like a 3 month wait. Sad but true. This insurance mess sure is tiring. I'll just try to sit back and take it easy until my insurance finally switches over. I haven't really been seen at all since my emergency room visit. I had pains in my lower abdomen and it turned out I he a cyst rupture. That's when they said I was 6 weeks pregnant too. I haven't seen a doctor since due to my insurance. All I gotta say is.... you just got to love this state and the insurance agencies like toy with people. :/

I didnt have insurance yet when I got pregnant but my doctor still took me and the insurance will pay up to 3 months back. Maybe you could find a doctor and ask them if that would be an option

Are there any free clinics nearby? Maybe your local planned parenthood? Some urgent cares also offer discounted costs if you need it.
