Anybody been told at 20 week scan that they have a very small baby?!? I had my 20 week yesterday and the baby is only measuring on the 3rd centile. I've Googled and apparently that's alarming....I have another scan for two weeks time with a consultant appointment afterwards? just wondered if anyone had this? What was birth weight of baby? did you have to be induced early? and was there anything 'wrong' ?
not too sure but I googled it and i found this.. ссылка doesn't seem like anything to worry about @tuftyturtle xx
@harlie_kariss, 97th and 3rd? what does that mean ? Big or small? . my scan notes say 3rd centile for growth. which is TINY. @winterbaby95 a small bump doesn't mean a small baby ! I know tons of people who don't get bumps until 7/8 months and I know two sisters who always have tiny bumps and babies over 10lb. 🙈 I have a massive bump already but a really small baby! I just hope she grows by our next scan. don't want to be induced early or have extra tests etc. x
my baby was measuring on the 97th and 3rd centile but the sonographer said she was completely fine and normal size xx
I haven't been told I have a small baby :) but I suspect I do because my stomach is kinda small for being 19 weeks :3 I have a scan in 1 week. I will let you know then if I have a small bubba xD I do know that if they think the baby isn't growing right or has stopped growing they will induce you. 😍😍 @tuftyturtle
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
20 week scan
I have my 20 week scan today.. Finding out the gender hopefully is baby will co operate :D so excited to see my baby again
Anterior placenta?
I found out yesterday, at my 20 week scan, that I have an anterior placenta and won't feel my baby kick as much due to it. Not until late pregnancy. Anyone else have the same thing? If so, when did you feel your baby kick?
I just had my anatomy scan, they suspect that the baby has "cleft lip, unilateral". I have to go to a specialist next week for confirmation. Has any momma dealt with this?? I'm heart broken
What did your babies weigh at 28 weeks scan???? I had my scan today and she weighs just over 2lb 🙈
@tuftyturtle, dont worry too much hun, midwife always says that babies grow at different rates, she could easily catch up by ur next scan xx
