Anyone have advice on how to successfully extract snot from a 3 month olds nose? He's got a slight cold but has more snot than usual. I can hear it clogging his nasal passages. I've been using the bulb syringe ( what my house calls a "boogie snuffer") but it doesn't seem to be working sufficiently enough.

yes nosefrida! and before use put a couple drops of breast milk in his nose. it's a natural decongestant and anti-inflammatory. about 20ish minutes beforehand.

those suckers never worked for me. this may sound gross but I used to put my mouth over my daughters nose and suck it out. my Dr even recommended it. worked best for me
Every single time I have my niece or nephew my sister bring them to me sick!! 🤦 It's going to be a super long night because I have my nephew and he isn't feeling well. His nose is full of huge boogers and dripping with snot at the same time.

Who won't get an Easter bunny picture with lo because I'm afraid of germs? My sister asked me if I had one done and I was like no way! Those costumes holding snot nosed little children all day? No thanks. I'm a bit overprotective :) Not saying anything wrong with those of you who've done them or that you shouldn't have - I'm just wondering if I'm the only one crazy by not doing it. I think it's cute I just can't do it.

I'm worried my water won't break on its own. I called the ob on call earlier today and described her what I've been feeling (constant dull back pain that radiates to my pelvis and my thighs feel like I've been dead legged and have been wiping what looks like snot out of my vag since February 10th and was in the er on Valentine's day with contractions and was dilated to a 3) and she says well it sounds like an infection, but you could be in labor too but since the mucus is a light yellow its prob...

I snuffed a big string of snot this morning which is good because he was pretty congested. I'm going to test a few things out later today but until then he's finally back to sleep. 😴
