I know I haven't given my labor story yet. so here is most of it. On the 28th at 2:10 pm, I had a OB appointment. The nurse took my blood pressure and it was 130/93. So asked all the questions if your in pain and so on. I had been in a lot of pain and was having contractions here and there. The doctor came in and checked me and told me she didn't like my blood pressure that high. So she held me in the room and took my blood pressure 5 more times in resting state. the bottom number went closer to 100, so the doctor came back in and said I got myself a induction ticket. Was told to go over to the hospital across the street and get checked in. At 4pm I had my IV in and was getting pitocin and my penicillin and saline. Then got contractions and got myself to 5cm before I asked for the epidural. So every 4 hours I had to have another dose of penicillin. (never in my life do I want to have it) at 4 am they asked if I wanted to do hands and knees to see if we could get the baby to move into position since I hadn't progressed. I was on hands and knees for 30 minutes and got back on my back. At 5:10am I felt pressure and told the nurse and she checked me and I was a 9.5cm. They removed my catheter and I was a 10cm. Got the doctor in the room at 5:20 am and she was here @ 5:24am. Blair Kimberlee was 7lbs 5oz. Healthy and was the first baby I got to hold right after delivery.
